I am DD'n a friends parents car while my runner gets swapped. Its a 1990 Lexus gs400. They don't really take care of it and it showed today. I cranked it up today after getting gas and it made a weird noise. I drove off and noticed I lost pwr steering. It was a short drive to my bros so I stopped there. When I popped the hood sure enough the serpentine belt was broken. It seems the belt was so worn that it was able to glide across the auto tension pulley. When I put a new belt on it could not do this so I knew the pulley was messed up. When I turned the pulley it will only go so far in each direction. I loosened it up some and it worked fine until I turned the car off to check it. The pulley is ceased up now. My question is what all will have to be replaced. This is my first time dealing with this so I need all the help I can get. My time is short and I have work in the morning.
