Talking New Tunage in the 91!

Got bored today on my weekend off, and decided to take care of my busted up CD player I've been cruising around with for a year and a half now

Ripped it out and popped in a Jenson

THEN, decided I'd liven it up some with some wattage

with the 1000watt amp hidden nicely under the seat

the one lil ol 10" is all I want; it freek'n ROCKS!!!

I installed some good Pioneer door speakers a long while ago, so those were fine and I didn't have to change those

then I decided I was going to put on the stock antenna instead of this cheapo cell-intenna-pigtail-curled-wannabe antenna, and I ran into a bit of a problem

yay...

I drilled and tried to easy-out it, but it's rusted pretty solid, sooooo, I'm gunna have to just replace the hole antenna holder thingy... and I know it's a PITA, cause I put this one on

Just out of curiosity, what kinda stereo are you guys running in your single cab pickups, providing the lack of space?

surprisingly it doesn't

I had it in the same spot a while ago, pushing 2 10"s with it turned all the way up, and never had any issues

till I finally blew the 2 10"s, lol

Can your seat go all the way back with that 10" behind there.

haha, no...

but, I have short legs I didn't have to move it up any to put the box back there, cause I already had it moved up a little

I want to get buckets though, so that I can keep the box behind just the driver's seat, so that the passenger isn't cramped I have some tall friends, and they ride with the knees up on the dash, lol

On the RF amp in my sig I have 2 15s and that amp gets sooooo hot. It's in the trunk of a Camry right now and if I turn it up I'd be afraid of it burning my fingers if I touched it.

Looks good! I've still got the factory radio and speakers in the 86 and although they work it's kind of a pain only having 3 FM buttons and 2 AM buttons. The radio in the 89 is some sort of Kenwood with one 10" base thing in the back, the base thing is the only speaker that works.........

So I can listen to Christian talk radio (which I like) in the truck or *bump-bump-bump* with no words in the 4runner (which I don't enjoy).

I need a new system.

JVC head unit
Polk audio db something 6.5" door speakers (awesome sounding speakers would suggest them to anybody crystal clear can't say enough good things about them)
10inch sony slim mount sub with 500 watt jenson amp
all in all sounds amazing in a single cab no distortion what so ever

the seat I think is 1 click up from all the way back so I am pretty happy
