Regearing questions

I couldn't find much about re gearing the front. I'm getting a 4.30 rear locker. I was wondering what the best option is for the front. Should I try to find a used 4.30 front or get new gears and regear my existing?

Could someone point me to a write up of either way. I have little question that I could do either but I want to know which would be less expencive and which would be better.

I have the same dilema! Just got my locker last week, 4.30. Can't decide to just regear my front high pinion to 4.30 or regear both to 4.88 to turn 33's

Will try and have ZUK do the gear intalls regardless!

Easiest and i would say cheaper is find a 4.30 front diff used. 4.30 i think you can only get at Toyota.

I'd either get a 4.30 diff or regear both diffs to something deeper.

I'd try east coast gear supply if your trying to regear they have good prices on parts.

If you cant find a used front 4.30 then I would have ZUK re-gear your front to match the rear locker.

His prices are more than reasonable for the quality of work. Purchase the gears and ship with the your high pinion to ZUK. I plan to ship my 3rd to him when the move to 4.88 is made.

you can contact him through his website: gearinstall.com
