Question wire harness wont fit

Well I was trying to install my dual xdm7610 receiver in my 2000 4runner sr5 so I bought a wire harness and dash pocket. But when I tried attaching the wire harness to the oem harness in the truck it wouldnt fit. Crutchfield said it would, but I guess I shouldve visually compared the 2 fits first before I bought it from them. So now i need to buy another harness that will actually fit. Anyone know of one that will work? Thanks, been searching for a while.

This is the one i bought:

Your stock stereo is probably connected to a factory amp underneath it. Connected to this amp will be the wiring harness that will fit the one you purchased. You're just taking the stock amp out of the loop.

Your new receiver probably sounds better then the stock amp. Remove it & connect the new harness to the amp's connector.

Rewire the whole system and take the factory stuff out of the loop ,
run your head unit and amp right to the battery power and ground with a in line fuse
run your acc. and amp remote to a separate power like the cig lighter so they still run off the ignition
run separate wires to all your speakers
if you decide down the road to sell your truck you can pull the system and put the factory one back in just by pluging up the factory head unit to the stock wiring and you have a system installed for the next owner and it's all stock
