Earned my Jeep recovery vehicle badge this Sunday

You guys know how it is... you go wheeling, and when you leave, you want more! Well, Jeremy and I went out to wheel some local trails w/ Morgan so she could dirty up her Xterra before she sold it to get a REAL vehicle. <cough> <4Runner> <cough> She got stuck and winched... Jeremy high centered, and winched... this kid in a totally stock Jeep got winched, yanked, winched, and yanked... Morgan thought she almost rolled her Xterra ( probably felt like it, looked like it too, but she still had two tires on the ground and her nerf bars holding her somewhat horizontal... Jeremy lifted his right rear a couple of times... Come to think of it, that local trail was actually pretty challenging after we dug it out a couple or 20 times, and the road we took out would be pretty damn challenging going up, esp. when wet... hmm... Whadda ya say Jeremy? Wanna go back?

I'm game!

So is Morgan, but not in her Xterra, she has her custom dirt mod in her front bumper now...

:pat:

Geez it's just plastic... Life goes on...

(I'll never tell her that... )

A-

It'd definitely be fun... it's a real short trail, but the sections are way off camber, and the ruts are way deep... 35's barely touch the bottom w/ my shocks fully extended... still, you'd get some great air!

you REALLY need to find a way to get those pics of the kid neck deep in mud trying to get the tow strap on his axle off morgans camera. . . even if you just take a pic of her screen with a real digital camera, that ˟˟˟˟˟ was priceless. ill go do the trails anytime, but it takes me three days to get all the mudd off from that big pit so i aint doin that every time. yea its fun getting to use my tires for what they are really for ( i dunno if you were watching me but i thought i was stuck a couple times for sure and just dug my way out ) but its so much work afterwards.
