I searched over 10 pages with no luck on this. I wrecked my 4runner and requires the whole front end to be replaced, so i am opting to get a tjm if it will fit. I found one off a 2003 tacoma (t15 i think with the hoops)and he says it comes with all bolts and brackets. Will this fit my 1999 4runner limited? I saw a tjm write-up where the frame ends are cut off and threaded end plates are welded in , so if thats the case i doubt the end plates can be reused. Is the tacoma a different width? will it line up with my limited flares well? Its also missing the rubber pieces on the front, are they available anywhere? also what would a used tjm be worth? it has no rust , but needs paint to be perfect. thanks for any help guys

 

Seems like it would be an easy question after reading tons of posts on TJM and ARB bumpers... my instinct would tell me that it would fit, maybe with the minor modification of cutting off the frame ends (takes about 2 minutes with a sawzall).

But, I would email Steve over at sonoransteel.com ...who is a distributor of TJM. He would know for sure.

TJM lists different model/part numbers for the Tacoma and 4runner. So, who knows.

Good luck. I think I am going to try adapting a 2nd gen t17 to fit my 3rd gen. It will be much more work than what you are getting into.

 

yes, the TJM-15 will fit.
