steering wheel removal 88-runner
Again I am new to this toyota world I stepped into with this 4runner
I am looking to remove my steering wheel
I dont want to break the cover durring removal
I dont see any screws/bolts
someone have info for a new guy?
I added some 31 bfg's
I LOVE THIS TOYOTA....

You don't need a special puller.
Just remove the set screw holding the pad ot the wheel, remove the pad, then remove the 19mm nut holding the wheel on. Then all you have to do is wiggle it back and forth while pulling out/up and it will pop free. No special tools needed.

I suppose if you are a dee dee dee you could injure yourself, but a little common sense (which isn't so common i hear) and you won't have your face in the way
