I sold one that was 7 years old for $450. It was in very good condition though with just a few scratches on the top.

i've been looking for a used one that's not a terrible color match for a long time with no luck. today i shelled out $1200 for a new leer shell. $100 is a good deal.

That seems like a really good deal depending on the shape of the topper. I work at a topper shop in Bozeman Montana and we sell A.R.E. tops new for around $1,060 brand new. Most of the used tops we sell go for around $300-$400 so it sounds like you got a great deal.

$100 sounds about right, for missing the back window. Nice canopies go for $350-$750 on craigslist, and they are over $1000 new.

If you ever want to haul something in the bed you want to keep dry it can be very usefull. Also you wouldn't have to worry about things blowing out of the bed.
