Im finally putting in my fixed auto a340 e transmission. Is there supposed to be a guide pin on both sides of the engine block or is there only one? A guy is telling me there is supposed to be two but if there is its missing. Im thinking the starter bolt is the equavalent of the other pin. anyone know?

 

In my experience, there has always been two. One on each side.

 

there was two. ones on the driver side in the middle, and ones in the middle up top
