New Tires & Questions (Pics)

Hey guys, I typed out this whole thing until my internet messed up, ugh! So here I go again... I bought some new wheels and tires today for $120 so couldn't really pass it up and I kinda dug the wheels. Anyways, the front tires have some weird wear but have life in them so I might run them for awhile. My question is I would assume the PO didn't have a correct alignment hence the weird wear, so if I run these with a true alignment, will they start to wear evenly or what? They're mud terrains so they make some noise and I'm used to my all terrains. I also wanted to ask opinions, should I stay with these new wheels and tires or stay with the old? I'm prior to the old cause I love black wheels but I'm open to swapping new tires on old wheels, etc.

Thanks guys.

whatever floats your boat, i think both sets look good.

yes they should start to wear evenly, and as long as there is some tread left you should be safe.

I would put the uneven worn tires in the rear, if I'm not mistaken it'll correct the wear patterns better. And I love black wheels and I also love the look of mt's and my next set of tires is most likely going to be mt's so I would go with the Black wheels and mt's. Nice rig btw!

The MT's look like EXT and if the are cupped, prolly nothing will help, if it only has inside edge wear then having and alignment on your rig will help stop the wear from getting worse. but again if some lugs are higher then others in an uneven patter- thats mostly caused from crappy shocks the person before you had, for a better ride put them on the rear, but doubt you will be about to reverse the wear pattern.

Yeah, two of them are cupped. Guess I'll throw them on the rear. Thinking about putting them on the black wheels but with these two cupped I might just leave it alone. Arggggh.

I wouldn't worry about the cupped issue too much. You got the whole set for really cheap, what do you expect? But it's still a good deal and the wheels look like quality wheels, the tires, from what it looks like, should get you around 10,000 miles but that's just guessing at how much tread is left from the angles on the pics. But overall I say good purchase, but since they are cupped don't worry about swapping wheels with these tires. Just keep the two separate sets and then if you feel you need at's because of mostly highway driving, then just put them on. I wouldn't worry about using black wheels or the newer (to you) wheels until you start thinking about new tires.

Yea the uneven wear will continue to wear unevenly there is no fixing that so i would just run them on the rear so you dont feel it as bad. Sweet deal though no matter how you peel your bannanas.
Also those chrome rims are frickin kick a*s

Decided I'm just going to resell them for a higher price and go back to what I had. I prefer the black wheels and smoother ride of A/Ts. After I sell these I'll probably get new A/T or a Trail Gear bumper!

I'd say stick with the black wheels. I was thinking of some for mine before the sequoia wheels... When I get sick of these I'm sure i'll be looking for black ones. They look rugged. makes it look tougher.
and look great on yours.

Where's your rear bumper? That chrome would match those wheels nicely.

Ended up selling them for $30 more than what I paid for them so not bad!

I think it looks better without the rear bumper. Actually probably getting a MC rear next.
