i started my truck today and as soon as the ignition was fully on the rear window rolled down without me touching anything, it will not roll up and it only clicks when the interior button is pushed. i had to pull the wires on the regulator because it was overheating as it seems that a switch is stuck in the down postion and the motor is always straining to pull the window down further even tho its all the way down. i had to pull the regulator off and manually roll up with window as a temp fix. just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or any ideas what is happening. thanks

 

Might be a relay is stuck on (contacts welded internally):
