Well, I'm new to this forum. I used to be really active on ttora when I had a Tacoma, but I got rid of that for Buell, and got rid of that for a 350z, now I'm back to wheelin'. I've got a 1991 4Runner. It's got the swing out spare carrier in the back and I don't mind keeping the spare on a roof rack, but I was wondering about removing the carrier. It looks like it's going to look pretty ugly once I remove it.

The whole issue is trying to find a tube rear bumper. Something like the All-pro, but it won't work with the tire carrier. Does anyone know of a tube bumper that works with the carrier in place? Has anyone removed the rear carrier, and what did it look like with it removed? Thanks

So, they're not making these for the public. They only made two prototypes. Lame. Thanks a lot for the info. I'll see about printing these pics and going to a local fab shop to have some made if there are no other ideas floating around.
