you got ideas for a 1986 4runner rear wheel carrier

Gday guys im chassing any ideas other fourm members have or have found for rear bar/wheel carrier for the 86 runner as i want to make one myself soon. any pics would be great.

Nice runner

I'm in the planning phases of doing a fold down tire carrier similar to this (but with a few changes of course)




it's a simple design with 4 points ataching to the bumper so vibration / noises / chances it will fall off from stress cracks are minimal - - I plan on using leaf spring poly-urethane bushings for the hinges and a receiver hitch lock for the latch pin

the snorkel finishes just inside the guard where it connects to flexible pipe that goes behind the guard that then connects to an airbox.
