I own a 1995 runner 3.0L. The truck has been running great.. It got really cold last night.... I went to start the truck using the the clutch cancel button./ It started but was running rough, when I came back outside it was jumping from 400-500rpm up to 1200rpm back and forth kinda sputtering a little, and throwing some black smoke. When I get in and drive away, it ran alot better, no check engine light, anything.. Now the truck wont start unless I give it gas and it will die if I let off the gas pedal...... Any ideas?

 

intake duct between throttle body and air flow meter maybe cracked?

No crack at least not one that I can see...
