$3500?? Doubt it, I know we get a lil more for our trucks on the west coast but that is not a 3k truck at all. I'd say try for $2500 and hope for $2200.

I paid $2750.00 for mine about 1 year ago. I had to put a new long block in it since. I just really wanted the truck though. I bought it from the original owner who bought it at Bill Wright Toyota in 1987.

Typically, you will do better reselling in CA, but these are dark times my friend and people with money to spend are using it to buy necessities, like the i-phone.

First off, decent looking paint goes a long way, but I feel you on what you want for it. I wish I had some extra $$ laying around to offer you. I appreciate what you have. Start high and be patient. Someone will buy it. It depends how desperate you are, and who has cash. Im digging the single cab with a sun roof. Thats seems pretty rare. Good luck.

no i totally agree i have to be patient.. this isnt the type of truck for someone who just wants a truck.. its actually fairly functional and for someone who is lookin for this they will know what they are lookin for and will be willing to pay for it. the truck is by no means a rust bucket or beater. its a very functional daily driver. it gets alot miles and sees alot of off road its straight outta johnson valley, by no means a rock crawler conquerin the hammers but it will get you where you point it, on or off road. i guess of course its more to me than to all of you but for what it is.. it is good.

Will you be at the King of the Hammers race? I'd like to check it out if you still have it at that time. That would give me time enough to launder some money out of the wife's site. I have been wanting a pickup, but wasn't sure if I wanted a 2nd gen or a 3rd gen single cab. SA saves me a lot of time and work and I really dig the sun roof.

im sure ill still have it then this is all just thoughts still.. i was just lookin for opinions and things, but i mean if an offer came up that i couldnt refuse well than i just might not be able to refuse it. i dont know about the KOH, the race is on a friday. i thought thats kinda weird but i may be out there possibly this weekend puttin around. theres a TTORA thing goin on out there.. havent actually decided on that yet. but the truck is by no means perfect. its got a cracked windshield now from a chip that didnt like the snow, the seat has seen better days, and its missing a bumper end from the ugly front bumper. and uhhh i dunno far as i know thats it new alt. new front wheel bearings 1 1/2 inch spacers, front and rear brakes with new wheel cylinders and drums in the rear, new u joints, the engine pumped 180psi straight across when i did the timing set last year, its from colorado hence the rusty bed and the rust is worse than it looks specially on the pass. side. i dont know other than that. probably some other stuff i forget about here and there both good and bad but its a great little tuff truck and really shines off road.
