Oh hell if nobody else wants to then I will, I love showing my oldest child.

$2800 dosen't sound to bad for everything, I spent $1500 on the front and rear kit from TG just something to think about.

A local shop quoted me $900 just for labor on the front, so I just did all the work myself. I say do what ever makes you happy women will never understand the love a man has for his toys I know my wife dosen't..

Do you like lowered trucks? lol

Thats a good looking 4runner, could use some bigger tires but I think I read in one of your posts that that is in the plans

Those are 35s on it now I'm not sure if I'm going bigger if I do 36s max, the lift is actually a 4" TG IFS eliminator kit.

$2800 for a SAS and rear lift

Then you got...the rest of the iceberg
Bigger tires maybe rims $1000
D-shafts $500
Longfields $650
Lockers and gears $750 to $2500
Sliders $300
Duacl Case and tcase gears
Blah blah blah

$2800 is the tip of the iceberg
I got that much in my front axle alone

Dude, fix that hard rear brake line on the axle as it looks bad and it's going to hang up on something sticking up/out like that.

Mine is actually lifted 3". With mine you can't even really tell as the rear sags so much it looks pretty much stock. I don't mind lifts at all, but I don't like them really high off the ground. To each his own I guess.

If you're gonna sas it, do it because you care about how it is going to perform. If your g/f doesn't like the way your truck looks, then dump her.

WabFab- Yeah I know just add that to the list off things that still need to be done LOL, and dammmm 2800 in the front alone tack 1000 give or take a few hundred and thats what I got into my rig thats with the price for the 4runner. I can already hear my wallet begging for mercy

I'm just starting to put the shocks on now I SASed it about a month and a half ago, but it seems that the list just dosen't stop growing. I just finished welding up the motor mount plates 3 days ago.

My build is a super slow build I'm just buying things as I get deals on them. I would never have gotten the SAS kit if it wasn't for some unfortunate events.

tell your gf to find a new boyfriend. problem solved. one of my best friends is female, her boyfriend has a 88 4runner recently SAS'd on 33's. I'm not a huge fan of his modifications but it does good.

but she absolutely hates his and my rigs. Like we give a f***? lol my last two gf's liked my rig but i still don't care. It's time to be selfish bro! WHO CARES WHAT SHE THINKS ABOUT OUR YOTES!

My Runner isn't really tall at all I think, here is a picture with my 94 2x4 for size comparison and it still fits nicely inside a single car garage w/35s on.

For real, that's about perfect if not perfect height.

My 93 22re 5sped 5"TG rear springs 4"TG front springs square front driveshaft 12" 5150's cross over steering with 6 shooters 35 x 12.5 x 15 dick cepek dc 1 15 x 10 rims with 5.29 gears adding e-locker keeps adding up and adding up so $2800 like WABFAB say's is just the tip of the iceberg.

If I were you I would find out what all comes with the $2800 and figure out what will be need to finish it off also make sure he knows what he is doing and can get it right on a yota just my $.02
