Mic09 - I still got some miles to put on it so it should come down an inch or two.

Olharley - Do you have a detailed pic on how you mounted your rear shocks????

Thanks for the compliments

because im going to SaS mine before summer comes.

Local shop will do front and rear SaS for me for 2800 bucks all parts and labor.
SAS front and rear? Your rear already is a solid axle.....

Also, I think what he is saying is that the girl thinks his rig SAS'ed would look stupid, not that it already does. Either way, you need a new GF....

Actually, he has a point. 4Runner's are already top heavy, a lower 4Runner is going to traverse side slopes, and be able to be put on more of an angle without rolling over. We're you the one who cranked the T bars really high for looks and lost all the front flex?

I can't remember who, but someone on the board went as far as to re-weld the driveline tunnel so that the truck could be lowered farther as he felt the truck was too high up for serious rock crawling.

Or stop worrying so much about what your girlfriend thinks (or if that's why you want to SAS in the first place, then you got yourself a problem).

The guy with the 4RUnner meant the cost to swap in leaf springs for the rear. Leaves allow for cheaper, easier rear flex than a complicated coil system (stock rear suspension can only handle so much lift before it needs to be re-designed).

Keep em' comin! I'm in the market as of now for said generation modification. Actually not trying to hi-jack here but on the subject at hand... will 4 inch bracket lift links for our rears work, iv'e seen guys who run the panhard drop with LC coils but my kit has the full set-up for our factory 3-link rears, i'm thinking with 4 inch springs up front it will function still, anyone?
