heater resistor location?

Would anybody know the location of the heater resistor in a 1990 4x4.My Haynes manual says it is under the heater control, which it isn't and the dealership says it is under the blower motor cover, which it isn't.Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

It is under the blower motor, but on the backside towards the firewall, there should be 4 wires going to it and at least 2 of them are pretty big.

I replaced mine on my 91 p/u several years ago. I had to take apart my glove-box to get to it. Wasn't too difficult.

heater resistor location

First of all, I'd like to thank 91diesel and yellowtruck for their reply.Secondly, had the parts person at the dealership sent me the right part it would have been easier to find it, but, they sent me the heater relay so that is what I was looking by way of shape and connector Now I am waiting another week while the right part is brought in from the main warehouse in Vancouver. Now that I know where it is located it should be an easy fix. Thanks again guys. This is a great site as it is always comforting to know there is somewhere to go for help.
