So, if you have any info please help me! I got my boyfriend new seats for his 1996 4runner, and was going to surprise him at Christmas by putting them in...but when we went to do thst saw that both the front driver and passenger floorboards are rusted beyond repair! so couldnt put the seats in obviously....sooo what do i do? can i have new ones welded in? Do i just get metal or do they actually sell new floorboards? THANKS FOR THE HELP@!@!!!!!


also, i dont know for sure if he needs the whole floorboard? Maybe just a piece of metal welded in where the seats need to screw in?

 

Sorry to hear the Xmas present didn't quite work out. Where are you located that floorboards would be rusted out?

Someone else may know a better source. You could try getting some from a salvage yard.

Best bet is to watch Powerblock on Spike tv and see what they do when they encounter rusted floors.
