Brake Fluid Cap Any one???

I was going to add brake fluid to my truck and i couldnt find any fluid so i forgot to go back and put the cap back on stupid me.. So i drove to work and back with is 60 miles one way. Got home and it was gone. So i took the one off my 93 pick up and it fit on my 98. I have looked for weeks for a new or used one.. No auto parts store has one and i have been to the junk yard and they dont have any thing. So if you can hook me up i will send you some money. e-mail me at buckmater662@hotmail.com

I have one off my old Master cylinder. I will sell you cheap.

Edit: I just remember that they changed the cap in 89. But i could still get you one from my local wrecking yard.
I think they cost 5 bucks.

Have you looked on the IFS skid plate to see if it landed there? I only ask because the previous owner(s) of my truck must have been oil-fill-cap-dumb since there were two of them on the skid plate and a new one on the valve cover. Your brake fill cap may have landed there.

Get one from a dealer. Why would you risk your life driving around without a brake cap because you don't want to buy one at the "stealer(*rolleyes*)ship"

Go to this website:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...?siteid=214074

Give them this part number if your Taco has a 2.7L - 44305-22040

or give them this part number if it has a 3.4L - 44305-50010

and give the money to them. In return you get a shiny new OEM cap with a new seal.

You were able to drive 60 miles (each way) without a brake fluid cap? I would not have thought that was possible. How much brake fluid was in the reservoir when you checked it?
