Best Heater Hose out there?

Are there any diffrent between the black and red hose? I see both are heat resistance or can handle the hot temp from the engine... I might replace it with the red hose. So do ya think staying with black hose is good enough... Thanks in advance...

Maybe its just me, but ive seen that red hose turn soft and mushy after a period of time, but ive never had a problem with the black hose at all, so thats what i use when needed.

I was going to say the same thing but hadn't got around to verifying it. But I believe the red hose is not oil/fuel exposure tolerant.

How 'bout the hose that's designed to fit in that space? ie, stock hose?
