BJ spacer help
i just received my spacers from 4crawler (shipped all the way to0 Hawaii pretty quickly). i was wondering if anybody had any suggestion or tips before i install them...

theres a couple good threads on bj spacers install, Hell even one that the title say "bj spacer install writeup"...How do I know you ask..?
I was putting mine in yesterday and said thread helped me out a bit...
So a tip...hmm...Search...?

hah, Dont use spare fibreboard under the upper A arm...But, If ya dont put anything there, It will be hard...trust me..

yeah, thats what took me most of the time...grinding...then scratching my head...
...Then reverting back to install instructions and seeing that you have to put something under that bumpstop....then a little bit more...

Make sure your tie rod adjuster sleeves are not seized, same with the camber adjusters..
Get a good 6" long peice of 2x4 to jack under the UCA to keep it seperated from the upper balljoint.
A die-grinder works great for notching out the UCA.
Make sure your shocks will work!

I'll tell you tomorrow.
So far difficulty out of 5 (being the most difficult)
Compressing the suspension enough to jam the 2x4 in place: 2
Knocking out the stud on the BJs: 3 (torch and PB blaster needed on mine and 10min with a BFH)
Trimming the UCA: 1
Installing the spacers: 1
