just wondering if a 82 cab will fit on a 85 frame.
the 85 was tipped over in a creek. one of the windshield struts was bent and the windshield smashed in. That is all i am aware of for damages

I have a whole 82 toyota pick-up. will the body mounts line up or should I just repair the 85 cab.

I would fix both trucks but only have one complete front axle and four six bolt rims

any help would be appreciated.

i don't think so. we did a partial frame replacement on an 82 using the center of an 84 frame. it was slightly wider than the 82, we heated it tweaked it in slightly then rebraced the outside. but all in all it wasn't to bad. but it's not as wide as the 3rd gen frames, we tried using an 84 cab on an 89 frame and that took same major modifications
