Key Fob Remote Entry Price/Source?-2000 4Runner

The going price on several used ones I've seen on e-bay are running around
$30.00+ each.

There were several Posts here in the past where they have been found for a lot less than that.

The one I'm looking for is for the Denso Remote RSS-210. FCC HYQ1512Y.

Thanks;

Mark

What did you have to pay for it? Any problems programming it to the vehicle?

I just picked up a couple of these exact remotes on ebay in September for my 2001 SR5. I paid about $32 ea. for them, they were used but in very good shape and came with new batteries.

Programming was smooth and easy following the supplied instructions (which were the same as have been posted here).

It appears to me that 3rd gen. 4runner remotes are getting a bit more rare on ebay than they were a year or so ago. I think that may be driving the price up a bit.

I paid $100 from the dealership, with programming included. I'm thinking about getting a second one off ebay.

I just picked up a 99 runner from here in the classifieds this past weekend and I need a spare too. I have the same FCC ID. I looked on eBay the other day and a couple pages were returned, but I did not look close enough to see if they had exactly what I needed. If you find a source other than eBay please post.

EDIT

http://search-desc.ebay.com/search/s...fsop=32&fsoo=2

This search returned about 17+2 eBay stores. Looks like we will be in the 30 to 35 dollar range. This search was based on the FCC ID.
