I have an 89 4Runner (1st gen no vent window, power window). Drivers window rubber ring / gasket whatever its called has a 1 inch gap in it which is very loud at highway speeds. I ordered a new one from factory.

Has anyone installed one? How hard is it and will I have to remove any of door panel inside?

to do this you will need to remove the pannel (makes it way easier) then drop the window all the way down pull the old one out starting at the top pulling down and then pulling right up so it slides out the chanel then to put it in you slide the two sides( front and back) into the channel and down as far as you can go rase the window a little bit and useing the window as a pry you push the rubber down as your going down with the window then you pop into the top and lube it up as best you can and then you should all be done hope it helps man
