Probably at least $1500 would be my guess. Don't care about the price...NEW

Um...sort of. Not 100% sure if I'm going to do it yet. But I think I'll bite the bullet

Why? Unless your in the desert, getting stuck in a lifted 2wd sucks. Waste your money on a 4wd conversion or an actual 4wd truck. I see how you like to go off road and a long travel 2wd is not going to get you any farther.

hmm... 1500... ?
for about 700 I could add another 5 inches to Sin91's truck.
Still think you'll be higher?

Going further isn't the point. Yes you can climb rocks and play in mud like a usual 4x4 person would. I on the other hand...will be doing 60mph on gravel roads and can actually jump my truck. Can you do that? Just saying......

True...but like I said. I'm not buying it new.

Its $600. When I have way more lift and way more travel than a downey kit. And only spend like $150 more.

Here is the lift I "want" to buy. It is THIS one on THIS truck. Meaning the guy who owns the lift is on the truck.

obviously not... if he had at least one 'pro' to monitor, he wouldn't reply to you.

Hehe.

Okay Abe help me out. (this is where you give me good advice and point me in the right direction!)

What should I do? LT my truck. Or just get a downey lift?

Hey now! You, in your sick, warped, perverted, twisted, touched by your local catholic priest, freakish thoughts, took it there, not I. I insist that my comment was indeed honorable. At least it was when I said Sin's name!!!!!

And 91, I gave pros the night off......lol

91, seriously, with all this money you want to put into your 2wd, why don't you just find a "decent" 1st gen 4x4, and use that as your building platform? Prolly be much cheaper in the long run, with a plethera of mod'n options

They have all been pimped out in my area. I would be lucky to find one without a bobbed bed, lifted, can't forget the bald swampers, trimmed fenders, dented, and spots with bondo on it.

I don't know what to do anymore. Probably buy a locker next week though...and have fun with that till next year. LOL
