cold start injector maybe?

Been digging through some threads and saw a general common term; cold start injector. What is this, where is it and what does it do because I can not get my truck started in the cold. It takes about ten minutes of turning it over. What happens is i turn it it over it starts for a second and then dies. I repeat giving it some gas and it dies. If i start it with the gas pedal pressed it dies quicker. Eventually it will start and run fine and then i can even start it again after its been started and warmed up a bit. Also on another note probably unrelated truck wont start in park only nuetral.

Look on this thread for a picture of where the cold start injector is. Look for 11 l (lamda).

You can have the cold start injector cleaned if need be. Better than buying a new one. Can't help you with why the truck won't start in park or nutual. (Maybe your shifter cable is streached and even though it looks like you are in park/nutral the truck does not register the shifter in those positions)
