Aisen Hub Bolts

Aisen Hub Bolts
I was clean my hubs today and noticed that one of the bolts to the bolts were missing on the outside of it. I guess there is about 9 or 10, I forgot to take a pic but will tomorrow. Anyone know if its some special bolt that I need or could I just pull one of the bolts and goto the hardware store and pick up something similar? And is there a torque setting for them?

Hi Krash, if it's the bolt that goes on the outside of the black ring, they are torqued at 7 foot lbs.
Not sure if it's a special heat treated bolt or not, but I'm sure the dealer carries them, or can let you know if you can go with a standard bolt or not.
Since the dealer is closed tomorrow (maybe some are open) perhaps a good bolt shop could match one up.

yeah i was thinking about going to a dealer since there is one right near the college and I have to go over there tuesday... I'm gonna need to invest in a torque wrench too...

It's a standard size bolt. M8x1x17 seems to ring a bell, or mabye 13....better take yours to compare. The dealer will want beacoup bucks for one, but if you get a replacement at the local hardware store it won't look the same (if that matters to you...)

naw looks don't really matter much. I'll probably go with replacement parts just cause it will save alota hassle. I got to looking too and from what it looks the bolt head broke off and left the rest threaded in there... not a good thing in my book... This is minor on my big list right now, top is the windshield and timing chain guides.
