toyota front axle

how much should i expect to pay for a toyota solid front axle? used of course. o and will the gears work out of my IFS front diff for that solid front axle?

no you need the gears from a 8 inch rear axle.. normally just the fron 200-400

You should be able to find a solid front axle for 200 dollars or less, and no, nothing from your IFS will work on the solid axle. IFS gears are 7.5'' and solid axle gears are 8''.

I see them go for $150-$500 for a complete solid front axle.

not true..... v6 calipers will work with FJ roters on the SFA.

V6 or I4 Calipers both work =) and I got my 85 front complete stock axle for $200. Which is actually a steal here in the PNW for an unmolested stock 85! complete axle.

hey drew do me a favor and keep your eye out for a SFA like you picked up? im moving out that way in january to Ft Lewis and want to do the SAS to my truck when i get there. ive got a friend out there that will pick the parts up for me and take them to his house in Puyallup if i can find a deal ill start buying before i get there.

awesome. ive been looking around at kits online for a while. cheapest one i found is from Downey so far. but ill definatly bring it back up in january when i get out there. ive got another daily driver so when i start work on this truck im going to do the engine and suspension all at once.
