Exhaust leaks out the Wazzuu

So my '93 22re has exhaust leaks out of almost every joint in the exhaust system. Exhaust manifold to downpipe. Downpipe to Cat. ((No leak between the cat and the middle pipe)). Middle pipe to muffler. Muffler to tail pipe. mhm. They aren't massive leaks. Noticeable, but not massive.
Last December I replaced the down pipe due to it literally cracking in half. I should have spent the extra $$$ then and got a full exhaust, but I didn't because I thought the rest of it was fine. Well, the manifold flange and the down pipe flange didn't match up 100%, but enough so it worked. I've burnt 4 sets of the two gaskets that go between those two pipes in the past year. Three of those times were just bad luck, but the other time was me being stupid and trying to race an Eclipse. I recently moved to a city that requires emission testing, and I know IT WILL NOT PASS as is, so I need to do some gasket changing at the least. This week I will most likely change the two gaskets on the ex manifold/DP flange and the one between the DP/cat. My question: Can I use high temperature gasket maker along with the gaskets to hopefully seal up the leaks? Silicone or whatever other kinds of gasket junk out there? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've used tin foil to increase the thickness of the gaskets, but they have mostly burnt away after 4 months of use. I'm not going to buy a new ex system for probably another month because I want to get a header but I need to find someone that will ship to Alaska.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you, Yotatechers.

I generally use the hi-temp silicone sealer with my exhaust gaskets. I'll coat both sides of the gasket and then let it set up for about 30 minutes to form a good skin. Then install and tighten the clamping bolts. Then I generally try not to run the engine for 12-24 hours to let the sealer fully cure. If that does not do the trick, I have replaced some of the gaskets on my exhaust with ones I cut from 16oz. copper sheet. I trace the gasket outline on the copper, then cut out typically 3 copies and then sandwich those 3 gaskets together with hi-temp silicone in between and then crimp the whole thing together. Have never blown out one of my copper gaskets and they can be reused indefinately, simply heat to dull red with a propane torch to anneal (soften) the copper and they are good as new.
