No sounds on the right side speakers

I just installed a Nakamichi CD400 that I got from ebay. I noticed that I wasnt getting any sound out of the right side speakers. I checked the balance on the unit and that wasnt it. I'm new to this and not sure where to go from here. Can someone help me?

thanks

ooh. afaik, the only authorized nak dealer/distributor in HI used to be island sound, but they went out of business some years ago. hopefully it's not a problem with the deck itself. you could probably still send it back for service, though.

bad wiring? reversed wiring? bad connections, bad speakers, etc...?

my friend had one - the sound was awesome.

What would happen if I spliced the right side speaker wires (the ones not working) to the left side side wires (the side thats working)?
