Wierd Clattering Noise

i have wierd clattering noise in the front of the engine when i start it up. sounds like it might be a pully but i hope its not my timing chain. i only have 20,000 miles on a remanufactured engine that has gave me no problems yet. it does not sound loud and it goes away once i give it gas and then i dont hear it anymore. any ideas on what this is?
