1st Gen 4Runner Removable Top Seal

Funny enough, I have not taken my top off yet! I'm guessing there is a gasket between the top and the body rail. Is there a place I can pick this up? I called my local Toy dealer and they know nothing. I'd like to pick this up just in case mine desinegrates when I take it off for the first time.

But there is a weather strip were it bolts to the cab. I have an 85, i've taken my top of 3-5 times this year and it doesn't leak. The previous owner also took it off all the time no problems, i wouldn't worry to much.

Thanks all! I'm going to trek across the valley and see if the other dealer knows a bit more, then hopefully take the top off! (some of the weather stripping is hanging out the side now, small piece)

It's a dealer item. You can get it from some of the online toyota parts houses for about $45.00. It's easy to change as it comes with a peel and stick adhesive. Just clean the surface good before sticking it.
