I have an 88 2WD dually truck that I am trying to fix up for my father to haul crap with... I got an SR5 Cluster and the oil sender to put in... but the previous owner removed the speedometer cable from the trans and I havent been able to find one... I havent called the dealer yet for fear of price shock... I found ones on line for older and newer models but nothing for 84-88.. Am I missing something? Can I use one from a different year? Is the 4WD cable the same as the 2WD one? Its a 22RE efi with a 4 speed manual trans...

 

You will probably have to order it from a dealer, or if you have a pic n pull near by, you could try there first. you can use one from a 4wd, the only diference is that it will be a little longer than a 2wd.
