99-02 Bumper fit on 96-98?

I finally got my fat lip bumper in but now I cannot find the installation thread for the life of me. I have read it before it has pictures ect. to replace the bumper on my 97 to the newer style 99+. If somebody knows where it is it would be much appreciated - Thanks

i dont know where the thread is but i would gladly trade my fat lip bumper for a regular one as long as they bolt up without being heavily modded. i hae the fat lip bumper and there a zero solid spots to drill a hole to mount lights.

Is this the one... https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/9...-bumper-83768/

Use the advanced search option. Took me about 5 seconds to find it.

Where do you want to mount the lights? Most people mount them on top of the bumper in front of the grill on the fatlip version.

I recommend everyone ditch the stock tin foil and plastic bag bumper and get a nice steel one. One that can really show another car or dear whos boss
