Snorkel after a 3.4 swap.

Has anyone here done a snokel after a 3.4 swap on a 2nd gen? Im fixing to do a 3.4 swap on my 93 runner and wondered if i could add a arb snorkel afterwards. Thank's.

Cadman, Thanks for the reply. You also have a great write up! Im just hoping that the outer base of the snorkel for the 3.4 Taco will sit flush on my 93 4runner.

Thanks FFM. The fenders are shaped differently and the fit will not be identical, but a little fab work can make almost anything fit right.

Its not a 3.4 swap, but it is a custom snorkel just the same. I personally like the look of his shorter snorkel.

Well, you should do the ISR mod IF you want louder intake noise.

Along with most other Toyota intake mods, this most likely doesn't do a thing for performance and may even provide a performance decrease. The best thing you can really do is keep the intake and engine stock, and if you want more power then the TRD SC along with fuel mods is the way to go. Expensive and not completely plug and play, it is still the best bang for the buck.
