sounds like i am dragging a chain under the truck

i just got my new truck on the road and it is making a really wierd noise. It is a 1988 4runner with 3.0 and a 2" lift with 32x11.5 bfg mud ta's. it sounds like i am dragging a chain underneath the truck ( and no there is no chain under the truck) from what i can tell i think it is comming from the front end of the truck. has anyone else had this problem or know what it could be.

i haven't done anything to the front end yet but someone was telling me that it might be the chain in the transfer case does that sound right to anyone else. i think i am going to do wheel bearings soon so maybe that might shed some light on the problem
