Click on the pic, just a lot of coils in a row. Now you can see why everyone is going to get completely different results.

Can you swap just the springs on OEM setup?? like say from my 96 to 99's Or would I need shocks too? how much would this raise my rig if I did 1" or so?? Sorry for the newbie questions, I know integras in and out but not 4runners yet...

so basically that is the real reason why my 2WD 4runner sits so much lower in the front then the back by like a half inch almost?
and by putting i guess 98 4WD coils upfront in them it would level it out some?

So would it really be worth, or even noticable, to put 99 front springs on a 98 (4wd) 4runner. Just curious because I'm about to change my shocks and I'm considering buying a set of 99 coils to install as well. My driving 90% on road and I don't want a 1 1/2-2" lift right now.
Anyone added 99 coils to there 98 before?

I changed out my 98 coil springs to 99 coil springs and really didn't notice a difference. I had to measure to see any change. I did remove the rear only after month because the Toyota coil springs couldn't handle the weight of camping gear so I went to OME 906.
The rears are for sale and a good price if you're interested in the rear only.
