Arrow New truck

My dad is looking for a new truck, and I convinced him to go toyota. He needs it to have airbags, and and double/xtra cab.

I know that the airbags came out in 95.5.

What should I know about these rigs?

How big is the bed? (needs to fit 2 sport ATV's. We can stand them up on their butts : )

My dad said something about there being a bad batch of the newer toyota v6 engines... what year was that? Anything to worry about?

These get about 20 MPG? Maybe a bit less?

The truck will be a DD/Trail rig.

Any info will be great!

refer to the sticky at the top of the forum! especially if you're looking for a tacoma from 95.5-00. i believe the "3.4 problems" were with the 01-02 automatic trannys...not for sure on years. and not too big a reported problem. just get an 03-04 dbl cab and feel good about a sweet ride! (that is definitely on the radar for the next vehicle!) good luck bro!
