Few Q's about my ne beater

I just picked up a '92 runner sr5 auto V6 for $400 and i have a few questions. my buddy has an old 91 pickup sitting around and i was wondering if i can swap out my hubs for the manual hubs. and does anyone else have a problem with acceleration? i have to hmmer the accellerator to get the truck going

yes you can put on the manual locking hubs. very easy and quick mod.

for the acceleration, welcome to the world of v6/autos. they are typically gutless. what size tires and what gears do you have?

The automatic toyotas are notorious for being unbearably slow. Your best bet to increase performance is to re-gear the differentials. Toyota undergeared the automatics from the factory, they have a very big overdrive gear, almost impossible to pull up anykind of hill.

Regear to:

31" tires - 5.29 gears
33" tires - 5.71 gears.
