1991 pickup 4wd knock sensor wire

1991 pickup 4wd knock sensor wire
so my engine starting bogging down and throwing code 52, knock sensor. now if im right the knock sensor is underneath the intake manifold and i have to take it off to get to it. im pretty sure its just the wire and not the sensor itself. anyways, any advice on how to get to it? help would be appreciated...
