need kit for SAS?

Well it helps. No you don't need to buy one. If you Don't ya need to fab some stuff up., Search it has been done before without TrailGear, Demello or (I hate to say it) All Pro.... But if you DO buy a kit, research the company.... on here even. Because some kits are a lot better than others!

The quality of the ride is dependent on the skills of the person installing and the quality/design of the parts. All the parts are available individually or can be easily fabbed in the home. I would recommend reading installation instructions and familiarizing yourself with the process involved. If you have to ask a question like that you have A LOT of research to do still.

Stay away from all-pro. Though they sell good products, their customer service and "employee representation" is enough to keep me away
Trailgear and Marlin both sell good products.

thanks 4 the heads up. i know im gonna get burned for this...i wanna SAS my truck cuz from what i can tell straight axle is more reliable and u can get suspension lifts with it, more than IFS. go ahead tell me im a mall crawler, newb, etc...

Nah, wouldn't try to hammer you like that. The reason I ask is for the price of SAS you can build your IFS to pass/pull out the guys that only have SAS. They really get this confused look on they're face when they realise your still IFS. While your skills improve and hopefully your wallet too.
Example:
lockers
bumpers/armor
or
duals

just for the axle its too much!!!
maybe for a pair just a front 300 you could find one for if you look around.
dont forget gearing lockers all the stuff that you could do with a s.a.s... might aswell bite the bullet once and do it right..
because ifs locked in the rear can do many places with no lift.. if you know how to drive you can skool solid axle jeeps all day!
might be easyier cheaper to buy an old solid axle yota or sell yours and buy already modded one..
