Well I went with some friends to the mud bogs this weekend. I wasnted to see how the little truck would do. I assumed I would be in the stock class but the guy tells me that any tire bigger than 31" is modified. I am put in a class against 36 trucks, all except one had at least 4" of lift and welded or locked diffs, 35-45" tires and all the 4.0 and 4.3 power mods available. Well I couldn't beat the 600hp dodge diesels or nitrous powered charokees, but 6th place isn't bad for open axels, no lift and 33's

The stock class was running in the 20-30 second range for the 200ft run. I ran 13.26, Should have won that class but around these parts nobody wants a little toyota beating the big heavy chevies of fat fords, That wouldn't be right.

 

 

my "crew chief" dropped my sony camera into the mud. No Pics DAMN. but I would have loved to get a video of the first run against a jacked charokee. He got the light but I passed him and never looked back. His response was priceless. "When we pulled up to the pit I kind of laughed at your truck. No lift and skinny little tires I thought you were in trouble but there you were flying past me, you got a 350 in there or something?" LOL

 

Wow, a 3.slo was mistaken for a 350... Good work
