Im wondering can you put ifs rear springs on the front and rear of a first gen? Bolt on? I can image it would be bolt on, the only addtion would be shocks? My springs are beat, and founds dont allow a marlin kit.

Read this. Its a good swap if youre lookin for an inexpensive lift and want to move your axle forward.

I'm confused, are you talking about a pickup or?? also IRS springs/coils? and from what, also, i guess it depends on where you are getting the coils from, but rear springs are not meant to handle the weight of an engine, so thats a potential problem.

The lengths are the same but they have different center pin locations....

79-83 Toyota Rear
Flat length = 48"
Front Half = 21.125"
Rear Half = 26.875"
Width = 2.36"
Front Eyelet = 18mm ID
Rear Eyelet = 18mm ID

84-88 Toyota Rear
Flat length = 48"
Front Half = 20.5"
Rear Half = 27.5"
Width = 2.36"
Front Eyelet = 14mm ID
Rear Eyelet = 18mm ID

The fronts are a different length eye to eye
79-85 Toyota front
Flat length = 45"
Front Half = 22.5"
Rear Half = 22.5"
Width = 2.36"
Front Eyelet = 18mm ID
Rear Eyelet = 18mm ID

I meant like the 86-94 ifs rear leaf springs.

I forgot about this thread.

Im checking the link now. Since the center pin is differant im guessing it wont work.

I checked out the link. I didnt really want to fab or weld, since I dont have a welder. Im just looking to replace worn springs.

Yes, its not possible to put the 86-95 springs on without moving the spring hangars.....

Guess your options are stock junkyard replacements or aftermarket new

Unless you can fab or dish out some money, thats pretty much what you are limited too.
