I had gotten a few PM's about the wiring diagram for my '81 so I thought I would try to post it to see if anyone could use it:
**Grid sections A&B are for the right hand side of the truck, Grid sections C&D are for the Left Hand side of the truck

These diagram's are my bible. The haynes auto manuals have them in the back, you can pickone up for 24.99 cdn or something like that

 

I hope it is OK to piggyback onto this thread. I went to my mechanic the other day asking about a wiring diagram for my 81, as I'm looking to do some wiring replacement and upgrades in the future. He provided me with a fairly accurate diagram that is somewhat different looking than the FSM versions. The wiring color codes are easily read, is what I needed. So, I scanned the 2 sheets into .pdf files and anyone wants a copy, you can e-mail me.

 

I tried to enlarge it, but it's too blurry.. and the photobucket page isn't there anymore. Any chance you still have the wiring diagrams? What I really need are the dual voltage diagrams for diesel Land Cruisers.. i feel like I'm going down a rabbit hole with no bottom..
