hey I have an 85 pickup too and the frame was so bad the bed was literally holding the truck together. I called this guy in colorado who has a toyota junkyard. I have a solid 84 frame coming to me (I live in maine) for $200. $635 for shipping :-( but worth every penny... http://jimsgotparts.com/?page_id=9

I think it's a steal if it runs. Too bad it doesn't have the stock bed on it..

I believe the deck lamp is the light on the back of your roof (where 3rd brake lamps usually are). It's there to help you see in your bed at night. I'd guess you can convert it to a 3rd brake light if you really wanted too.

I know it's probably more than you'd want to spend: http://www.budbuilt.com/new/frames.html (I don't have that kind of money) but, he also mentions that he has weld in patch panels to repair rusty frames.......within reason, I guess. Still, not a bad truck for $600!-------Hans

That looks exacly like my 85 when i got it. It had the wood bed and everythang...lol. $600 is not bad at all. the motor runs, solid axels, 4:10gears, good tranny, and a good front body. Dang sure sounds like a steal to me!

Nice find for $600. I'd put a nice flat bed on after getting the frame fixed.
