More flex? Cutting down bump stops?

More flex? Cutting down bump stops?
I noticed when my truck is all flexed out I think it just sits on the bump stops and my tire can go into the wheel well further...I would still like to have the bump stops...I think they are good. But, if I remove them should I get limit straps or just remove them and not worry about it? Here is some pics...

lol whoa! that is some decent flex for ifs and a 2wd
altho i have absolutly nothign to compare it to. you couldl cut bumpstops but i'd rather hit the bumpstops than fender. rubbing is lametown. i think you need more drop to be honest. looks good tho.

Lets just say I'll be getting a discount on auto parts
I raced my brother tonight...he has an 86 Crx with a 1.5l engine. At 60mph he was like 2 car lengths ahead of me. At the end I said:
Me..."How do you feel now that you beat a 3 cylinder truck
"Him..."well, minus 1 cylinder off of your truck and what do you have?"
Me..."I have 600lb more of truck
"^ His car weighs less than a ton.

I think I need more drop...I could do a SOA...but I'm not sure about the front then. I'd have to buy a lift for that

That is an excellent method to get more up travel, which is really the best and most useable flex. Droop is okay, but not all that useful.
I will be relocating my lower bumpstops on my truck for this very reason, though I have to tub my firewall first, so if you've got room, DO IT!!!!

And to the original poster: I know you probably get sick of people telling you to buy a 4WD so i wont go there. My question to you is why do you need more flex in your truck? My little brother has the exact same truck as you and he has plans on lifting it, desert truck style. I just dont get where more compression is gonna get you unless you're jumping it or something.
