alternator tested good..now what

alternator tested good..now what

ok..so we tested the alternator at oreiley's...and it tested good...and autozone..also same result...so we think the Alt. is good...then we moved on to the voltage regulator...which is bad now...(popped one of the contacts off)..but it was ok before that...and the battery is fine...what else could it be...thanks for the help!

Check your grounds. I just went through similar

Make sure you check the wires that plug into the generator for breaks or bad connections as this may also give you a no charge situation.

Id say check your connections and check for broken wires/cables... on old trucks like ours they tend to get trash it them and corrode or break
