I was given a 88 yota 4Runner V6 auto with a blown motor. It sucks thats its auto and wanted to convert to manual 5spd setup. Can anyone help out with a parts list. I know I need the following:

5-SPD Tranny + clutch + flywheel
Shifter
Master Cylinder
Assy Pedals (gas / brake (smaller one) / clutch pedal)
Maybe Transfer Case???

Can i get these from any 88-95 4Runner? BTW, this setup will need to accomodate the 5V SWAP.

yes you will have to find a case

 

front drive shaft should work, rear might have to be swapped out. Also depending on what year tranny/ driveshaft you get you might have to swap the flanges or re-drill them.

 

Don't forget about small things like shifter boots, console (if you so desire), plumbing/mounting hardware, etc. It will be your best bet to find a trans. mated to a transfer case to cut down on part hunting time. I believe you may also need the crossmember as well. I just started collecting parts and so far only have a master and a slave lol (Brand new though).
