Well, that's not all of the detailing stuff unfortunately. The microfiber towlels are on B/O until 7/31. With the towels and everything shown - around $300 shipped. Plus the Porter Cable 7336 I picked at Lowes for $109. I've let my rig go long enough without giving it the proper cleaning, polishing and waxing, so I thought it was high time to make the investment...

A blue top! I knew Optima had red and yellow, what does blue signify?

It's a deep cycle starting battery that can take as much abuse or more than a yellow top. Plus it has the posts for adding accessories easily. The blue signifies "Marine" battery I guess.

If I had to guess, I'd bet that the next day air stuff takes a little more abuse than normal. Am I far off?

Cebby,

You are going to love the results of the Griots stuff.

I have a microfiber drying towel already and it works great. Even better if you use the Gadget/Corey sheeting method when washing. I hordered another one back in June and it was supposed to ship on 11 July but it only shipped 2 days ago. You may have to wait awhile for it.

Let us know how your rig turns out with pics. If it doesn't rain this weekend I'm going to do mine.

I dunno if it takes it more than normal but I know it takes alot if it passes through the areas I've seen. Especially if the package happens to catch a disgruntal employee.

Woody,

I got a notification that my MF's shipped yesterday. It wasn't supposed to be until July 31st. Wahoo!!

How do you care for the MF towels? Throw them in the washer and dryer?

Cebby,

Wash them separately with mild detergent and NO fabric softner. I just hang dry mine and don't use the dryer.

Just make sure you only wash microfiber towels with other microfiber towels and nothing other than mild detergent.

Your going to love that Groits stuff. Your rig will look almost new. I just put three coats of wax on mine and someone asked me if I got a new truck - made me feel good.

congratulations on the UPS christmas party.

Cool Cebby, glad the Griot's stuff came.
As you know, I have not had any free time to wash my rig since the end of April when I did the whole Griot's ritual on it.

Toyota washed it for me last Friday after they did my plugs, and I felt the paint and it's as slippery as when I just waxed it.
It's blinding to look at when it's nice outside.

I just throw my MF towel in the washer also, and hang it up to dry it.
Did you get the sheepskin mitt also?
Best mitt I have ever used in my life.
Ooops, I see the mitt in your pic.

cebby, if i would have known that you lived in the pittsburgh area, i would have taken my truck out to your place, instead of getting the crappy wax job at the gas station

where in pittsburgh are you from?
